[EastValleyChoraleMaillist] Prayer Request and Update

Lora D, one of our sopranos requested prayer for her dad who was flown this
afternoon from Show Low ER down to Gilbert Mercy Hospital.

 

Here is her original request, and the update on the situation:

 

 


Dearest Family & Friends,

 

Thank you all for your prayers: my dad is doing well. When I went to see
him, I had to wait quite a while because he was being transferred from
surgery & admitted to ICU. The day/night nurse shifts were changing, too. My
cousin John came with me, and finally we got to talk to my dad. All we know
is that one of his arteries was blocked very badly & the doctor put 4 stints
in it. After he heals, he has to have a stint in another main artery. He was
groggy but coherent. We won't know what the situation will be until my mom
talks to the doctor tomorrow, but my dad is doing well, he's in no danger,
he's in a nice hospital receiving good care, and he's only 5 miles from my
house. When I find out more specific details, I'll let you know. But thank
God he is fine and nothing serious is wrong with his heart. I DEEPLY
appreciate all of your prayers.and God answered them!

ALL: Please pray for my dad. He had a heart attack (not severe), but they
are flying him by helicopter down from the Show Low ER to Mercy Hospital
(here in Gilbert) right now. The cardiologist is going to do cardio cath on
him to see what is going on with his heart and arteries. Please pray that
the doctor would find if there's anything wrong and that it would be fixed
so he won't have another heart attack or any other problems. Thank you!
