Hello Chorale,

 

It's been exciting to have several new singers join us lately, but we
probably don't need to recruit any additional singers at this point in time.


 

As it stands, we have 79 singers that participate on a more-or-less regular
basis. (11 of our members are winter visitors.)  

 

 It becomes difficult to maintain enough copies of music for everyone and it
is somewhat challenging to fit into smaller venues.

 

Since we have a 'typical concert repertoire' of about 40 songs, that means
that for each new singer, we need to add 40 songs per person..ordering,
reordering, sorting, and re-filing the songs is becoming another full time
job for me.

 

Thanks for your support and enthusiasm.  I'm looking forward to our concert
Friday night.
