Hello Chorale Friends,

Thanks for a productive and fun rehearsal last night.  It was great to
have Bev and Brian singing with us. Please continue to keep them in your
prayers.  Special kudos:  Ethan for tremendous piano activity....Grace
K. for solo on "Shelter Me."  It's very enjoyable to work with you all.
Thanks for sharing your lives with me.

Several Announcements:
1) There will be a memorial service at CrossRoads Nazarene this coming
Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 PM.  I hope that you can be there to support the
Johnsons and their family.

2) Thanks for your prayers for my Dad. I spoke with him this morning and
he's doing much better. Apparently, his medicines required adjustment,
and as a result he is planning to go home from the hospital on
Thursday...with no further surgery or stent procedures.  Kathy and I
will be flying back to visit him June 10-15.

3) Good news/bad news:  Good News:  As many of you know, we were able to
purchase two risers from Tempe Nazarene for $500. They are the same
model as the risers we originally purchased.  The bad news: Crossroads
is trying to cut back on expenses and as a result, their storage space
will be reduced. We need to find a place to store all 5 of our risers.  

If any of you have suggestions or locations where we can keep the
risers, I would greatly appreciate it. The details, the risers (when
folded up) are approximately 6' long and 24" wide and about 10" high.
Ed Dean, the church administrator said that by the end of the summer, we
should find a new storage location.  If you would be able to help me
solve this issue, I'll be eternally grateful.  Possible options:  rental
units (rent varies from $30/month and higher), someone's garage, ???
Wherever we keep them should be easily accessible and centrally located,
etc....

I would ask that you continue to pray about this issue.
