Singer updates:
1) Susan Knight-McCoy (one of our great altos) will be moving to Florida in the near future. We'll miss her greatly.

2) Tom Mauer, one of our strong basses, will be working in El Paso for the next 2 years.  He will be coming home for weekends several times per month. Here's info from Tom regarding the chorale:
"I won't be able to attend any more practices as we are packing this week and moving next week to El Paso to set up an apartment for me for a couple years while I work at Ft. Bliss.  I plan to come home one or two weekends a month and Joy will spent ½ time with me to keep the marriage healthy.I will miss the EVC worship, the friends, etc  God Bless and give my love to the choir... let them know I miss them already."
We will miss Tom big time!  We are considering recording rehearsals and sending them to Tom so that he could sing when he's in town.

3) Prayer request from Catherine Back (one of our sopranos):
"Please pray for safety for my 18 yr. old daughter & the others that accompany her as she leaves this Saturday to travel overseas for the summer.
She'll be part of one group of undergraduate stns who travel to Hungary/Romania and then is part of another group of stns who travel to Morocco. Please pray she doesn't get lost as she can sometimes lose her bearings.  Thanks."
4) Prayer request/comments from Tobie Holden (one of our altos):
"Things are a little tough here right now. Sunday's concerts really helped me get through the weekend. Especially "By the Gentle Waters", and the men's solo line (yea, men!). Dennis has just been diagnosed with early stage, "very treatable" prostate cancer and I would appreciate the group's prayers. They have all been so lovely to this newcomer."

See you all tonight...well, at least I'll see some of you :)
