[EastValleyChoraleMaillist] Reminder

Hello Chorale,

Hope your week is going well.  Thanks to everyone who participated at
the concert Sunday at the Presbyterian church in mesa.  Thanks for your
continued enthusiasm and support...and your 'flexibility' for the
standing arrangements, acoustical challenges, etc.

I'm anticipating a great rehearsal tonight.  According to my
information, Fran D. is the only one who is going to be missing...so we
should have 61 singers :-)

Dues:
Just a reminder...thus far, we've received dues from 40 members for our
March "dues-collection". Thanks for your support.   I believe that there
are 62 full-time members (see the chart below)...but I'm never quite
sure how many of you consider your self as still in the group. If your
schedule/situation does not allow you to sing any longer, I would
greatly appreciate it if you could keep me informed. 

I know that there are some folks out of work, or on a very limited
income, or planning to head to cooler climates for the
spring/summer...please do not feel pressured to come up with money you
don't have...and don't feel the need to pay when you're not around to
sing. 

General reminders:
Please try to let me know if:
a)	You cannot make a rehearsal
b)	You cannot make a concert
c)	You decide to drop out of the Chorale
d)	You have a suggestion for future concerts or potential singers

(You can contact me by phone (480-833-8056  or 480-540-4237), e-mail
(bcochran_gsv at cox.net for nights or weekends), or in-person at
rehearsals.)  

I even appreciate it when you let me know after you've missed a
rehearsal or concert...that way I know that you intended to keep me
informed :-)

Also:  Please avoid colognes, perfumes, aftershaves, etc for concerts
and rehearsals.  Remember, some folks are allergic to scents, smoke,
etc.  Your consideration for others in the group is greatly appreciated.

Another request:  We will need the risers for the following concerts:
1)Sunday May 3 at the Chander Methodist church concert
2) Tuesday night, June 9, at Friendship village in Tempe

If any of you men with a pickup would be willing to volunteer for one of
these concerts, it would be greatly appreciated.  George Martinez has
hauled them quite frequently, and I'd like to 'spread the fun around.'
Further more, Craig B. hauls the small step-risers to all the concerts
and to the rehearsals, so he already has a regular task.  I can help you
load the risers at your convenience.  If we can have enough folks
helping this way, no one has to do it too frequently.
