Hello Chorale,

 

Thanks again for all your contributions to a wonderful concert last Sunday.
I continue to hear positive comments about how much everyone enjoyed the
concerts.  It was fun to have a little 'briefing' at rehearsal last week
where everyone had an opportunity to convey thoughts/comments, etc.  Thanks
for your flexibility, smiles, great voices, enthusiasm, and support to make
the evening an effective and enjoyable time of worship.  I was very pleased
with the way the concert turned out.  We had approximately 900 in
attendance, and the offering was $1865. (The folks from Mesa Regal Choir
donated $400 to help cover the costs of the concert.)

 

Cal Baptist University Choir and Orchestra Concert Friday/Saturday

Friday, March 6th at Scottsdale Bible, 7601 E Shea Blvd.  (7:00 PM)

Saturday, March 7th, Foothills Baptist Church, 15450 S 21st St, Phoenix
(6:00 PM)

This choir and orchestra are pretty incredible, so I strongly recommend
them, and encourage you to go if at all possible.  Several of our singers
have seen them in the past, so ask around for comments, etc.  (Note: Kathy
and I will be in California during both concerts and will be unable to
attend..sob, sob.but if you hear some songs you like, note the names and
report back to me your findings.  I'm fairly sure they are doing some that
we will be doing in the coming months..example "Because You Are" )

 

Our semi-annual dues ($40) are now being collected.  You can make checks
payable to East Valley Chorale.  As I mentioned last Tuesday, I have to
begin to order music now for the coming year, so your help is appreciated.

 

Next Concert:  Sunday, March 15th Silver Ridge RV Resort, 6:00 PM

(I'm not sure how you can top last Tuesday's rehearsal, but let's give it a
