Hello Chorale Friends,

 

Thank you to everyone who participated in our concerts Sunday in East Mesa.
We had a very good turn out by singers (46) and audience alike, and I was
pleased with the results of the two concerts. Thanks for braving 115 degrees
to sing for others.and thanks to everyone who brought a fan:-) 

 

I heard many positive comments and complements and the audiences seemed to
enjoy your contribution to their lives.  One lady at the second concert
indicated that they seldom have 'entertainment' and expressed her thanks
that we could come.  When I asked, "What are you grateful for today?"  one
person responded, "That you're here."

 

A few announcements:

 

1)       We have a new rehearsal CD (vol 10) and a Christmas rehearsal CD.so
please get one of each at rehearsal this Tuesday.



2)       Bring any extraneous copies of music back to rehearsal.no questions
asked.



3)       Rehearsal Location Change for NEXT TUESDAY ONLY (July 28).  The
rehearsal will be at Church of the Redeemer in Mesa (see map and info
below).  This is only for one week.  If you remember, could you note your
odometer and see how far it is from your home to Church of Redeemer.



4)       Concert August 2nd Park Regency in Chandler  2:30 PM (only one
concert)



5)       Prayer Request:  Please keep Tobie H. (one of our altos) in your
prayers. She is applying for a graphics design position at General Dynamics
and is trying to make her way through the 'red-tape' machine associated with
obtaining employment. Pray that the 'right' folks will see her resume and at
least call her in for an interview.  To quote a good song, "God can make a
way when there seems to be no way."   

 

Thank you all for your support of the chorale.and for me personally. It's
one of the best parts of my life.
