[EastValleyChoraleMaillist] Prayer Request

A Prayer Request for Jack Christianson (one of our basses) as relayed from
Ellie Pritchard (one of our altos.and a member at Jack's church):

 

I would like to ask you to please pray for Jack Christensen and his family.
For some time now, his youngest son has suffered from cancer.  After years
of chemotherapy and experimental treatments, the doctors told him a few
weeks ago that they were no longer able to help him.  Mark has been going
down hill since then and has spent the last couple of weeks in and out of
the hospital. . 

    So on behalf of Jack, and his family, please pray.  Pray for Mark's
health, that he isn't in any pain as the doctors continue to do all that is
possible for him.  Please also pray for solace and comfort for Jack and his
wife Elaine, their sons John and Paul, and their grandchildren.  

    God is always with us, through every good and bad thing we do, during
every bright sunny morning and each dark, stormy night.  He is there, that
is the ONE thing that has never and will never change.  Sometimes though,
when the world seems at its most difficult and we feel lost in our pain, we
don't feel him surrounding us.  So, please pray that the Christensen Family
feels God's presence, His love, His Comfort, His Grace.

 

 

 

Let's all be praying for Jack, his son Mark, and all the family.  Your
support and prayers do make a difference.  Jack has been a very steadfast
part of the chorale since August of 2004. I'm sure he would appreciate your
prayers and concern.
