Good Monday Chorale,

Thanks to everyone who participated in the concert at Good Life last
night.  I realize the room was somewhat acoustically dead, but you
sounded quite good anyway.  The soloists sounded exceptionally great!

One of our guests was Brooke Larson, a choral director at ASU.  He was
very complimentary on the concert and said he enjoyed it.  (Brooke led
one of our rehearsals once last year when I was away on travel. He's the
one they call the "Diction Nazi"...so a compliment from him is
significant)

Several folks from the audience commented about how happy and
enthusiastic the singers were.  It really does make a difference. Thank
you.

Thanks also for sharing your lives and your talent with others. The Lord
is really using you...even when you don't know about it.  

Someone recently shared with me that they had come to a concert feeling
like they had been abandonded by God, but the songs of that concert were
a reminder that this is never the case. God is still there, and hope was
restored.

Tuesday we will spend the entire rehearsal working on Christmas Songs
(plus we will work on Draw Me Near...that song had a few scary moments
last night)
