Hello Chorale,

Thanks to everyone who participated and helped with the party this past
Tuesday honoring Barb for her accompanying the chorale for the past 9+
years.  I appreciate everyone who bought&brought party materials, helped
set-up, helped clean-up, helped serve, etc.  Special thanks to Joy
Maurer for helping to cut cake, serve, etc.  Also thanks to Yvonne for
her work decorating, getting table cloths, etc.

I would like to challenge each of our singers (and friends) to pray for
Ethan Rutter, our new accompanist, as he learns our 50+ most popular
songs.  He's doing a great job, but there are a lot of songs to get to
know.  If all 100 of the folks on the email list, would pray for Ethan
once/day for the next month or so, it would really make a difference.
How about it?

I found out today that we are approved to do our Christmas concert at
Crossroads again this year. The date is Dec 14th at 6:00 PM.  Last
year's concert was well received, and I'm looking forward to another
enjoyable concert this year.  Thanks to the pastors and staff at
Crossroads for their support.  We will plan to invite folks from
Crossroads to sing with us again this year.

Don't forget that we have a concert in Payson scheduled for Sunday,
September 28th, at 3:00 PM.

Our next concert(s) will be Sunday, August 17th in North Scottsdale at
2:00 and 3:30 PM.
