Mission & Philosophy

“East Valley Chorale is a non-profit group dedicated to the enjoyment and performance of Christian choral music.“

Many of today’s churches have replaced choirs with praise teams and worship bands, thereby eliminating the opportunity to participate in choral music. This chorale was founded on the belief that choral music still has value and lots of folks still enjoy singing in choirs.

Another important aspect of East Valley Chorale’s purpose is related to service to others. Many of the residents of nursing homes receive little in the way of entertainment and greatly appreciate concerts by the chorale. They particularly enjoy hymn arrangements and other familiar songs.

The chorale accomplishes its mission in the following ways:

	Weekly rehearsals

	Guest vocal teachers

Fellowship with Like-Minded Musicians
