Meet the Director | |
 Bruce with his wife Kathy | Dr. Bruce Cochran has been the choral director since the group’s formation in March of 1999. Bruce has directed church choirs and small ensembles for more than 18 years. His most recent responsibility involved directing the CrossRoads Nazarene Church sanctuary choir from 1991 to 1999. He has studied choral conducting at USC and the Bonner Institute for the Advancement of Choral Music. |

Bruce likes to include humorous and inspirational stories during the rehearsals as well as the concerts. The nursing home residents enjoy the stories as much as the music. The joy of the Lord truly is one of the Chorale's strengths and we like to bring some of that joy to everyone involved. Some of Bruce's favorite authors include Philip Gulley (the "Harmony" series and "Frontporch Tales"), Jan Karon, Bob Benson, Tim Hansel, Chris Fabry, and Chuck Swindoll. When not involved with the chorale, Dr. Cochran is an electronics engineer with General Dynamics in Scottsdale, AZ. He also teaches graduate electrical engineering courses at Arizona State University. | |
